Q: I bought something from your store as a gift but it didn't work out. Can I return it?

A: You can't return it for a refund, but if you have the receipt within 14 days you could exchange it for something of equal or lesser value. sales of jewelry and accessories, including masks are final.

Q: What is 'Goth' all about anyway?

A: It's both a fashion statement and state of mind. Mostly it's about embracing the dark aspects of life instead of ignoring or avoiding them. But some people just like the color black. And why not? It looks good on everyone!

Q: Is this the Halloween Store?

A: No. It may look Halloween-ish and spooky, but it's a clothing store. Halloween Adventure is two doors down. ;D

Q: So you guys are into satan, right?

A: It's not about religion, and we're personally not into satan. People from numerous faiths share the gothic subculture. But if you want the employees to stare at you in a depreciating way, then go down to the store and ask them.

Q: Can I rent an item from your store?

A: No. However, if it's for a magazine shoot that would give us credit for the clothes and/or accessories, Stitch will have to make the final call.

Q: What's your layaway policy?

A: If you want to put things on layaway you must put down 30% of the total price, and we'll hold it for 30 days.

Q: Can I special order an item?

A: In most cases you can ask Stitch to make a special order for you. You would have to pay for the item plus shipping.

Q: Are you hiring?

A: We're always taking applications, but it's usually a few months before the Halloween season that we start hiring seasonal help.

Q: This store ROCKS, and the employees are AWESOME! Can I hang out here?

A: This is a store, not a place to hang out. Stopping by to say hello for five minutes is okay, but please don't make this your hangout spot.  It will annoy the employees, at which point they'll stop being awesome and try to cut off your head.

Q: What's the best time to stop in for Halloween costumes?

A: The optimal time is usually in September or before. Please please PLEASE do not wait til the last minute to shop here for your costumes. It's crowded, and we may have run out of whatever it is you need to buy. Not to mention we usually have a line that stretches around the block. If you run into Bobby she'll berate you heavily for procrastinating.
